agenda for the week:
1) tues - 4pm microbio lab MIDTERM
2) wed - english paper due.. meet w/ advisor.. study for micro.. 8-10pm tutoring w/ jasmine
3) thurs - essay should be done.. study for micro.. 6:30-8pm tutoring w/ jasmine
4) fri - the BIG micro test
panic day for everyone.. today was the big micro lab midterm.. obviously, the girls & i were stressballs cuz we havent started studying.. anywho, elissa came to help us.. she was awesome.. everythin just came out of her mouth like it had been imprinted in her brain.. we ended up gettin some munchies at the deli & studyin at the campus center.. fun stuff.. the microphone was on so alyssa & i did a lil beat-boxing.. haha.. tryin to be justin timberlake, eh?.. haha.. anne came in & fooled around w/ us for a while.. as the time drew closer & elissa left, we were goin insane.. with me doin some wierd dancin stuff just to remember the test procedures, alyssa makin some funky noise, & grace laughin with her signature laugh.. leslie was really into her studies, so she figured she'd do some independent study cuz i think i annoy the heck out of her (don't i, boles?).. grace, remember "streptococcus"? (envision me gliding across the room with outstretched arms)
just as hope was diminishing, God sent us an angel.. an angel with a photographic memory.. her name was jasmine riehl, senior with a double major in PT & gerentology, and a minor in music.. wow! God really has great taste.. within a 20 minute span, jasmine told us EVERYTHIN she remembered about the midterm & never once hesitated with her answers.. i went into that test like i was gonna ace that sucker.. haha.. pretty easy stuff.. too bad crammin only helps u retain a few info, not a whole lot.. "milk comes in cases.. haha.. casin, get it?" "starch's enzyme is amalase.. sAM, get it?".. haha.. weird stuff that comes from my head.. i dunno, we performed gram stains and streakin for isolation.. we described each reagent for gram stain.. checked out flagellar stains, columbia agar, & many more fun stuff *said sarcastically*..
anne, grace, alyssa, & i went to visit lesbo practice for the PCN.. saw angel, marianne, and jeriel's fantastic acting.. listened to paul & boles talk.. watched aldrich strip in front of me.. yikes!! polka dot boxers.. haha.. & performed my rendition of "romeo and juliet".. afterwards, went to the library to get some tutoring.. i tell u, i came out of that library with a big smile & a head filled with so much information.. & it didn't hurt a bit.. THANKS, JASMINE... seriously, i owe her a lot.. i haven't felt this exhilerated about school for the longest time.. she put it back in my system..
rocio is sleeping over!! yay!! she's nancy's roommate and lots of fun.. too bad i'm not gonna be in the room cuz i have a lot of things to take care of..
I'm going to stop procrastinating ... once I get around to it.
